...MANILA: a powerful romantic tragedy - the scope of this play is surprisingly far reaching - hinting at politics, Catholicism, racial and gender issues, and the underlying theme - the turmoil created when a small, proud country, occupied over time first by one powerhouse nation, and then another, seeks independence...

...The originality of the production was incredible and the facts communicated out were based on factual information that was well researched by Mr. Natola. The actual information actually "stunned" me because I thought I knew a lot about the history of the Titanic. I guess I have more to learn about its history. Thank you again Mr. Natola for inviting us. An excellent production and a job well done...

...And yet, as each actor relates his character's own response to the tragedy, the emotions they portray drew us into the story once again. All of the actors performed professionally throughout, but are especially to be congratulated for the climactic final scene in which the entire company allows us to sense the final moments on the decks of Titanic. Kudos to the director as well for this most effective technique...

...Although it is unusual for me to see a show twice, with "Titanic In Spoken Truths" I was compelled to because you managed to have me trapped on the ship as if I were one of the original passengers about to experience that horrible night. Your way of presenting the thoughts and the wide range of emotions of the passengers and the crew was extremely effective: it left me with a sinking feeling that not one survivor was happy with his or her own actions during that devastating event. Your cast, Cos, portrayed real people with real feelings, struggling to accept the fact that they did less than they perhaps could have done. There were no heroes among the survivors or rescuers because over 1500 lives were lost when the Titanic sank into the darkness of the deep ocean. I was impressed with your young actors from North Surrey Secondary School, and do wish to have an opportunity to see them on stage again. I give your play two thumbs up...
